Calculate Media Center is a recent addition to the constantly growing list of editions based on the Calculate Linux operating system. It is a modern distribution of Linux that provides users with a media center computing environment. The main component of this Calculate Linux flavor is the open source XBMC media center software, which can be used to transform a decent desktop computer into a powerful HTPC (Home Theater PC).

Thanks to the pre-installed XBMC software, users will be able to play video and audio content, listen to a large collection of digital music files, view photos, listen to online radio streams, as well as to aggregate podcasts via RSS feeds.
