Availability and boot options
The distribution is available for download as a single, hybrid Live DVD ISO image that can be used as-Is from a bootable medium, such as DVD disc or USB flash drive. At the moment it supports only the 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platform.
It features a standard boot prompt that can also be found on other editions of the Manjaro Linux distribution, allowing users to start the live environment with default settings or with proprietary drivers.
In addition, users can boot an existing operating system installed on the first hard disk drive, view detailed information about the hardware components of the computer they are trying to run Manjaro Linux LXDE-Qt Community Edition, as well as to run a memory diagnostic test from the boot menu.
Powered by the next generation LXDE desktop environment
As mentioned, the distribution uses the LXDE-Qt desktop environment, which is comprised of a single taskbar located at the bottom edge of the screen and designed to allow users to access the main menu, launch applications, interact with running programs, and switch between virtual workspaces.
