Pinguy OS Mini is a special edition of the open source Pinguy OS Linux distribution, which is based on the award winning and highly acclaimed Ubuntu operating system. It's called Mini because it comes with fewer applications than the Full edition.Availability, boot options and supported architectures
Just like Pinguy OS Full, this edition is distributed as two Live DVD ISO images, even though we were expecting CD-size ISOs. Both 64-bit (x86_64) and 32-bit (i686) architectures are supported at this time, and they can be deployed to either USB flash drives or DVD discs.
From the boot prompt, users can start the live environment with default options or in safe graphics mode using the VESA framebuffer, run a memory (RAM) diagnostic test, boot an existing OS from the first disk drive, as well as to install the operating system without testing it (not recommended).
