VSIDO is an open source Linux distribution based on the well known Debian GNU/Linux operating system and designed to provide users with a productive, flexible and secure computing environment. Using Debian's latest Linux kernel packages, and it is distributed as Live DVD ISO images for each of the two supported architectures, 64-bit and 32-bit.
Boot options


The boot menu is the same for both Live CDs and lets users to boot the live environment with default settings or in failsafe mode, boot the operating system that is currently installed, as well as to test the computer’s system memory (RAM) for errors.
Uses the Fluxbox window manager


The “Live” option is the recommended and default choice. VSIDO’s session is powered by the lightweight Fluxbox window manager, which is quite similar with the Openbox desktop environment. It boasts a clean and darkish desktop experience comprised of Lxpanel as the default panel, located at the bottom edge of the screen, and a taskbar with a system monitoring widget on the top.
